Already regarded as one of most family friendly events in the region, this year’s edition will also include a guided cycle event for children, called ‘The Family Ride’. Taking in ten miles of beautiful local countryside, the route will be fully signed and include a feed station.
Cost: £10 per family, (each family must be accompanied by an adult), which will include refreshments on route and a small goody bag
Time: 11:00am start on Sunday 7th May. Please arrive at 10:30am to register.
Route: 10 miles on mostly small roads. Starting and finishing at Chartridge School, the route passes through Lee Common and Pednor.
Experience: All riders should be capable of riding safely on the Chiltern roads. There are several hills on this route. This is not recommended for very young riders, although tag-a-longs are welcome.
Bike: Should be roadworthy
Refreshments: Drinks and sweets available at the feed station located on the route.
Support: Ride Chartridge riders who will be on hand to deal with minor mechanical issues and to provide encouragement.
Please note that the £10 should be paid on the day.
